Homerville, GA Mr. Acline Melton Sr. 93, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2013 at his residents in Fruitland, GA. Mr. Melton was a native of Clinch County, GA and lived most of his life in Echols County. He was the son of the late Israel Green Melton and Nancy Elizabeth Melton, preceded in death by Juanita Cribbs, Bertha Douglas, Aaron Melton and Farris Melton. He was a retired bee keeper and cut cross ties for the railroad. Survivors are his Three Daughters, Linda & Robert Hendley of Fruitland, GA, Barbara Walker of Fruitland, GA, and Nancy & Billy Rowe of Fruitland, GA; Three Sons, Acline Jr & Robin Melton of Fruitland, GA, Terry & Vicky Melton of Fruitland, GA; Four Sister’s, Nezzie Cribbs of Colon, GA, Clinnie Willaims, of Homerville, GA, and Ava Nell Steedley of Homerville, GA; One Brother, Virgil Melton Sr. of Homerville, GA; Sixteen Grandchildren; Twenty Nine Great Grandchildren; Five Great Great Grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Mr. Melton service will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at three o’clock from the Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church. Internment will be at Wayfare cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday March 6, 2013 from 6 to 8 at the Funeral Home and Thursday March 7, 2013 visitation will be at his residents in Fruitland.
