Lillian Melton Smith

Homerville, GA Mrs. Lillian Melton Smith passed away early Friday March 1, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 27, 1944, in Clinch County, to Mr. Virgil Melton Sr. and the late Mary Lou Hilliard Melton and was the widower of Mr. Roland Smith. She was a member of Unity Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are other than her father; a step-son; Steve Smith of Birmingham, AL, Two Brothers; Virgil Melton, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Jim Melton of Homerville, GA, A Niece; Jennifer Gay of Nashville, GA, Two Nephews; John Melton of Enigma, GA and Israel Melton of Nashville, GA, and a number of other relatives. Services for Mrs. Smith will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013 at three o’clock from the Wayfare Primitive Baptist. Interment will be in Wayfare Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
