John Winston Webb

Madison, FL Mr. John Winston “Shorty” Webb, 92, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at his residence in Madison, FL. Mr. Webb was born Feb. 28, 1920, in Roanoke, VA. He was a Methodist and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during World War II. He was an electrician and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Survivors are his wife: Mrs. Rubye Thompson Webb, Madison, FL; one half brother: Earnest Nethkin, Crossville, TN and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Webb will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at eleven o’clock from the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 from 10 until 11 a.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
