Lunette Griffis Ritch

Homerville, GA Mrs. Lunette Griffis Ritch, 77, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, in the Clinch HealthCare, Homerville, GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Ritch was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Clinch County to the late, Arthur Griffis and Estella Highsmith Griffis. She was retired from Aetna, and was a member of the Homerville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by four sisters: Rheuna Griffis, Inez Bennett, Mae Booth and Thelma Maxwell; three brothers: J. T. Griffis, Jack Griffis and Elroy Griffis. Survivors are her husband: Verlin Ritch, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: Richey & Tracy Ritch, Perry GA; one grandson: Ryland Ritch, Valdosta; one granddaughter: Alexandria Ritch, Perry, GA; one sister: Rubye G. Sims, Waycross; one brother and sister-in-law: George Owen & Sarah Griffis, Homerville; one sister-in-law: Jewell Wilson, Gainesville, FL; one brother-in-law: John Ritch, Perry, FL; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Services for Mrs. Ritch will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at eleven o’clock from the Homerville First Baptist Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 from 6 until 9 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
