Arthur Kinlaw

Homerville, GA Mr. Arthur Kinlaw, Jr., 70, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007, in the Waycross Health and Rehabilitation Center, following an extended illness. Mr. Kinlaw was born February 3, 1937 in Clinch County to the late Arthur Kinlaw, Sr., and Minnie McCutchin Kinlaw. He attended the Clinch County Schools, was a loving husband and father and was well known to the public. He was a member of the Prayer Garden Church of God in Christ, had worked in a saw mill in the 1970’s and retired from B-way, in 1999, as a seam welder for 35 years. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillie Mae “Dora” Alexander and Alma Jones, two brothers-in-law, Robert Vince and Monroe Holloway. Survivors are his loving wife of 43 years: Martha Lee Kinlaw, Homerville; one daughter and son-in-law: Sandy & Tyrone Kinlaw, Homerville; three sons and daughters-in-law: Joe & Ann Graddy, Greg Kinlaw all of Homerville and Tracy & Eva Kinlaw, Providence RI; a son he reared Dennis & CeCe Grant, Oceanside CA; eleven grandchildren, Quentin Kinlaw, Eugene Kinlaw, Shanta Kinlaw, Shonta Kinlaw, Brandon Grady, Meshauna Kinlaw, Darius Kinlaw all of Homerville, Lagregory Kinlaw, Jacksonville, NC, Alassondra Kinlaw, Corey Nicole Kinlaw, Providence RI, and Treyondous Baynard, Valdosta, one great granddaughter, Bre’Nyah Smith, Homerville; four sisters and brother-in-law: Mary Johnson, Argyle, Annie Ruth Vince, Homerville, Mittie Bell & Sam Mackey, Ocala, FL and Maxine Holloway, Homerville: three brothers-in-law & wives: John L. & Lucille Lewis, Macon, GA, James Lee, Plains, GA and Charles & Bertha Lee, Homerville; six sisters-in law and husbands: Mary & Howard Calhoun, Rebecca & Jerry Jackson, Rachel & John Jackson, Janie Ruth Roberts, Pricilla & John Townsend, all of Homerville, Willie Mae & Johnny Tyson, Fort Walton, FL; a very special nephew & wife, David & Georgia Calhoun, Waycross; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services for Mr. Kinlaw will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 at two o’clock from the Prayer Garden Church of God in Christ. Interment will be in the Holmes Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Friday night from 6 till 8 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
