Eddie David Taylor

Fargo, GA Mr. Eddie David Taylor, 56, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in the Malcom Randall Veterans Administrative Medical Center, Gainesville, FL, following a short illness. Mr. Taylor was born May 15, 1955 in Homerville to Mrs. Nettie Cribbs Taylor of Fargo and the late Luther Lee Taylor. He was a truck driver and Baptist by faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors other than his mother are two daughters: Stephanie Velkey, Jacksonville, FL and Mahalia Ellis, Pollock, LA; three sisters: Kathy Griffis, Fargo, Mattie Sells, Stuart FL and Betty Jean Hunnicutt, Ft. Pierce, FL; two brothers: Jimmy Craven, Waycross, GA and Emmett Craven, Winnsboro, GA; ten grandchildren and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Taylor will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 at two o’clock from the Higher Heights Church in Fargo. Internment will be in the Fargo Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 from 6 p.m. until at the Higher Heights Church in Fargo. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
