Alma Braswell Rouse

Homerville, GA Mrs. Alma Braswell Rouse, 85, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Mrs. Rouse was born Aug. 19, 1926, in Emmanuel County to the late Bonnie Braswell & Lena Blackstone Braswell. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, John Alfred Rouse and one daughter, Nancy Pearl Rouse. Survivors are three daughters: Joyce Morrow, Homerville, Linda Touchton, Dallas, GA and Charlotte White, Homerville; one son: Johnny A. Rouse, Inman SC; five sisters: Bonnie Sue Adams, Cogdell, Madeline Adams, Douglas, Myrtle Braswell, Dothan, AL, Betty Angsley, Thompson, GA and Lou Perkins, Blythe, GA; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Rouse will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at eleven o’clock from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
