Paul Crews

Homerville , GA   Mr. Paul Crews, 78, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007, at the Kindred Hospital North Florida, following an extended illness.   Mr. Crews was born September 7, 1928, in Charlton County , to the late Bert Crews & Isabella Carter Crews. He was a Security Guard for Dollar General, a member of Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church and was retired of the United States Navy.   Survivors are his wife: Betty Pauline Griffis Crews, of Homerville; two daughters & a son-in-law: Jennifer & Robyn Merritt, of Homerville, and Kimberly Wyon, of Atlanta ; two sons & a daughter-in-law: Christopher & Emily Crews, of Lakeland , and Sonny Paul Crews, of Homerville; three sisters: Ardeith Brooks, of Hickox, Amy D. Tomlinson, of Nahunta, and Naomia Sundy, of Atlanta; two brothers: Columbus Crews, of Waycross, and L.B. Crews, of Hasford; two grandsons: Bryan Wiilliam Merritt, of Homerville, and Bentley Crews, of Lakeland; and several other relatives.   Services for Mr. Crews will be held Thursday, June 21, 2007, at two o’clock, from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church.   Internment will be at the Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery .   The family will receive friends Wednesday Evening, at the Roundtree Funeral Home, from 6pm till 8 pm.    Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Crews family.
