Clifford Oliver Register

DuPont, GA Mr. Clifford Oliver Register, 65, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital, Homerville, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Register was born December 14, 1945 in Clinch County to the late Norvell Register and Ruby Register. He was a member of the DuPont Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam Conflict and was retired from Lee Engineering. He was preceded in death by two brothers: W. N. Register and Elvin Register. Survivors are two sisters-in-law: Katherine M. Register, DuPont and Sue Register, Lake Park; nieces: Abby & Kenny Smith, Homerville & Kathy Spivey, Pearson; nephews: Andrew & Laura Register, Homerville, Andy & Tina Register, Lakeland, GA and Davey Register, Valdosta and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Register will be held Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011 at eleven o’clock from the DuPont Baptist Church. Internment will be in the North Cemetery, DuPont. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, from 7 till 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Register will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
