Barbara Anne Schmidt

Homerville , GA   Mrs. Barbara Anne Schmidt, 72, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Satilla Regional Medical Center , following an extended illness.   Mrs. Schmidt was born March 25, 1935, in Erie County , NY , to the late John E. Kinmartin & Ruth Degrood Kinmartin. She was a resident of Clinch County since June 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Lakeland , GA. Mrs. Schmidt was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Albert Schmidt, Sr.   Survivors are three daughters & two sons-in-law: Deborah Anne & Kenneth Hillman, Sharon Anne Schmidt, all of Homerville, and Julie Anne & Michael Casey, of Elon College, NC; one son: Donald Albert Schmidt II, of Edgewater, FL; one sister & brother-in-law: Sandra & Frank Mendel, of Williamsville, NY; seven grandchildren; and several other relatives.   Services for Mrs. Schmidt will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at one o’clock from the Umban-Amigone Funeral Home Chapel, Cheektowaga , NY .   Internment will be in the United German & French Cemetery, NY.   The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 7 till 9 pm, at the Roundtree Funeral Home.     Roundtree Funeral Home, 240 E.
