Homerville, GA Mr. Judon “Don” Daniel, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in the Satilla Regional Medical Center, Waycross. Mr. Daniel was born June 16, 1935, in Camilla, GA, to the late James Edward Daniel and Mary Kate Morgan Daniel, and had lived in Clinch County for the last 28 years. He was retired from Wallace S. Reece Trucking Company and had been a truck driver for 42 years; he attended the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law: Janie & James Tyson. Survivors are his wife Nora “Pretty” Delk Daniel, Homerville; one daughter and son-in-law: Sheila & Wade Oglesby, Waresboro; three sons and daughters-in-law: Judon Edward “Punkin” & Casey Ann Daniel, Homerville, Charles “Buddy” & Joy Griffis, Millwood, and Stevie & Donna York, Waresboro; one sister: Peggy Fizer, Valdosta; six grandchildren: Justin Delk, Jason York, Aaron York, Courey York, Chesley Griffis and Chris Griffis; four great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Services for Mr. Daniel will be held at two o’clock, Saturday, May 21, 2011 from the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Internment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 20, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
