John Mark Strauss, Sr.

Homerville, GA Mr. John Mark Strauss, Sr., 77, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011, in the Clinch HealthCare following an extended illness. Mr. Strauss was born November 15, 1933 in Williamsport, PA to the late George C. Strauss and Laura Schuler Strauss. He was a janitor. He had lived in Valdosta for several years before going in the nursing home. Survivors are his wife: Pearl Gower Strauss, Valdosta; two daughters, Rose Strauss and Tina Strauss of Pennsylvania; one son: John M. Strauss, Jr. and , Gardner, KS;daughter-in-law: Mary Strauss, Valdosta, GA and several other relatives. Memorilization will be by cremation. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
