Margaret Viola Stalvey

Homerville, GA Mrs. Margaret Viola Register Stalvey, 80, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at her residence following a extended illness. Mrs. Stalvey was born April 30, 1930, in Homerville, GA, to the late Eli Register and Gussie Register McLamb. She was a homemaker/farmer, she attended Baptist church and was a member of Lake Vern and DAV. She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew D. Stalvey; one grandson Matthew Lee Smithwick; two sisters Marie R.Vance, and Olivia R, Clifton; one brother Eli G. Register; and one sister-in-law Willora Stalvey Guthrie. Survivors are a daughter Donna Smithwick of Homerville, GA; one grandson: Justin Devoy Smithwick of Homerville, GA: one great grandson; Dawson D. Smithwick of Homerville, GA; one sister: Clariece Seymour of Jacksonville, FL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Services for Mrs. Stalvey will be held Wednesday, March 02, 2011 at four o’clock at the Lighhouse Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 01, 2011 at Roundtree Funeral Home from 6 p.m. til 8 p.m. Interment will be at the Pine Forest Cemetery.
